A 24-year-old resident of the foggy town of Dabovo has been arrested on charges of killing a much older neighbor, the crime was committed intentionally late on the night of December 4 in front of the victim’s home.
The signal for the found dead with his throat cut, Iliya Khaiverov, 74, was sent a day later, on December 5 at around 6.30 pm in the Police Department – Kazanlak by her 50-year-old son, who found the cold and torn by dogs and cat carcasses on your doorstep.
In the course of the pre-trial investigation launched, it became clear that the murdered man’s wallet with twenty leva in it and his mobile phone were not in the apartment. According to pathologists, the death was the result of a deep cleft, a stab wound to the neck, which was likely done with a piece of broken glass in the window, Monitor writes.
In late Sunday afternoon, Hayverov’s neighbor, born in 1994, Ivan Kehayov, who lived with his mother about 150 meters from the scene, was detained for 24 hours, initially in accordance with the law of the Interior Ministry. In initial questioning, Kehayov, who is still unknown to criminalists, made partial confessions, stating that the murder took place during a fight between him and Khaiverov. The two fought over an “indecent proposal” they made to their mother, which Ivan found out a day later. The old man demanded an intimate favor from the dark-skinned woman for a fee, and after her refusal, he rudely cursed her. This irritated Kehayov and he went to ask his neighbor for an explanation. A fight broke out between the two and a fight broke out, in which one of the windows was broken. In his shock, Ivan grabbed a piece of glass and stabbed him in the host’s neck, after which he rushed to escape, the post adds.
The prosecution accepts the “accident” charge as protector and will want Kehayov to remain behind bars permanently. This is expected to happen on Tuesday. This is another murder case in Dabovo, where about 1,100 people live, recall the locals, who have not forgotten that on the night of January 11, 2018, a 39-year-old villager with mental problems killed her 74-year-old mother with a tree. The killer claimed that his father tripped on the stairs and died, but pathologists determined that the fatal head injury was from a blow from a log. The perpetrator, Laura G., was admitted to a psychiatric institution.
