The draw for the qualifying groups for the Qatar 2022 World Cup will take place in the Swiss city of Zurich. The ceremony will start at 19:00 Bulgarian time.
Bulgaria is in the fourth ballot box along with teams from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Albania, Israel, Belarus, Georgia and Luxembourg. A total of 55 teams from the Old Continent will participate in the battle for 13 spots. They will be divided into 10 groups: 5 with 6 teams and 5 with 5 teams. The winners of each group will receive a direct place in the world championship.
