A satellite-controlled machine gun using artificial intelligence was used to kill Iranian nuclear physicist Mohsen Fahrizade. This was announced to the local media by the deputy commander-in-chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, AFP reported.
On November 27, Fakhiradze was driving on a road with 11 bodyguards. The machine gun “recognized” his face and fired 13 bullets, Rear Admiral Ali Fadawi was quoted as saying by the Mehr news agency.
The automatic weapon hung from a truck “focused only on the face of the martyr Fahrizade, so his wife, who was only 25 centimeters from him, was not hit,” he added.
This device was “controlled by the Internet” via satellite. It was equipped with a “high-tech, artificial intelligence camera” to find its target, Fadavi added.
His head of security was shot four times when he jumped on him to protect him.
There were no people at the scene of the attack.
