“The only thing that has been done differently in Bulgaria in recent months is to renovate the planes that you all know, the mechanized equipment, the boats that have been planned for many years. Our fleet is in a miserable state and that is why it is necessary to put the new ships in the armament of the Bulgarian army, ”said the Prime Minister. Prime Minister Borissov also pointed out that the modernization of the runways, radars and facilities is important to adapt to the new F16 Block 70 aircraft that our country has bought.
“The infrastructure of Bulgaria and Romania is being modernized, offensive weapons are being deployed on their territory and scenarios are being developed during the exercises, which suggest and predict attacks, including on Russian territory,” said yesterday the spokeswoman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, Maria Zakharova.
