More than 3,600 new cases of coronavirus have been registered in the last 24 hours in Bulgaria. Almost 150 people have died, according to data from the Unified Information Portal.
In the last 24 hours, 3,614 coronavirus cases were confirmed in 9,530 PCR tests (nearly 38 percent positive). The confirmed cases in our country are already a total of 158,807, they have been identified by 1,009,397 PCR tests.
Active cases are 94,480.
147 people have died from coronavirus in the last 24 hours. The total number of deaths in our country is 4650.
2,536 people have recovered in the last 24 hours. A total of 59,677 people were recovered.
6744 people are being treated at the hospital. 504 of them are housed in the intensive care unit.
Among medical staff, confirmed cases of coronavirus were 6,794, including 2,351 doctors and 2,179 nurses.
Of the new infected during the last 24 hours, the majority are in the city of Sofia (675), followed by Plovdiv (380), Burgas (257), Varna (249) and Stara Zagora (223). The capital ranks first in the total number of cases (46,714). They are followed by Plovdiv (14 821), Varna (10 953), Blagoevgrad (8714) and Burgas (8075).
