A small plane made a dramatic emergency landing on an interstate as cars drove down the highway at night, AFP reported.

Video footage posted to Twitter by the Minnesota Department of Transportation showed the pilot landing while traveling at the same speed as the vehicles.

The single-engine plane appears to have suffered an engine failure, local authorities said on Facebook, along with photos of the plane crashing into a jeep on the road.

No one was injured in the accident. The highway was blocked for several hours, but is open to traffic Thursday morning.
