Powerful scandal! In Skopje they changed the name of Bulgaria, look how they named us!

A new name for Bulgaria was invented in Skopje, it became clear from a statement by linguists from North Macedonia.

The publication of our southwestern neighbor McFax published a document signed by 17 linguists who work at the local Academy of Sciences and Arts.

“Our language is spoken in countries near and far. It was even official in SR Bulgaria from 1944 to 1948,” says the statement, writes novini.bg.

Scholars have focused on the attempts of the communist government in Sofia to establish a Macedonian nation in the Pirin region during the period.

At the same time, however, linguists have confused the name Bulgaria by calling it SR (probably the Socialist Republic) Bulgaria. From 1908 to 1947 our country was called the Kingdom of Bulgaria, and from then until 1990 the People’s Republic of Bulgaria.

Despite the forced enrollment of more than 150,000 Macedonians in the 1946 census (compared to none in the previous year’s census), their “language” was never recognized as official in Bulgaria.

Linguists also said that “Macedonian” is also spoken in northern Greece, parts of Albania, and Kosovo.

“This has been confirmed by both our experts and other foreigners. Considering the fact that the Macedonian language is spoken and studied in many democracies around the world, we can say that it is recognized by the world community as a separate language. on an equal footing with Bulgarian and other languages, “the document said.
