The patrol car was hit by another car.
A policeman died last night in an accident near Nova Zagora. He and his team responded to a crash alert with no casualties. While repairing the accident, the official car was hit by another driver, a 39-year-old man from Stara Zagora.
The policeman was injured in the collision. He was transported to MHAT-Sliven with serious injuries, where he later died. The police car had its lights on in a special way.
The 39-year-old driver who caused the accident has superficial injuries. His drug test showed alcohol in his blood. Has been arrested
