The news of Lady Celia’s death was published in the Daily Telegraph: “Celia Elizabeth died suddenly, at the age of 71”.
I am sad because I have just learned of the death of the elegant and charming friend of the Queen’s family, Celia, Lady Vestey, 71 years old. My condolences to Baron Vestey’s family.

The family also points out that the funeral will take place in a tight circle. All mourners are asked to send only flowers, and donations will be collected at Lady Celia’s favorite riding club.
