More than two million pensioners will receive an additional BGN 50.
They are paid their pensions and the BGN 50 supplement in the period from December 7 (Monday) to December 21 (Monday). 2,114,910 pensioners will receive a supplement of BGN 50 to their monthly pensions. The additional amount will be paid to everyone, regardless of the amount of their pensions, according to the NSSI.
Final: the minimum pension becomes 300 BGN.
An additional 105,925,000 BGN was allocated from the state social security budget for the payment of the December supplements. The funds are provided at the expense of spending restructuring and / or transfers to the central budget for 2020.

The payment of the BGN 50 supplement to pensions is made for the fifth consecutive month and is a step in support of pensioners, provided for in the package with the government’s socioeconomic measures.
