The co-president of Democratic Bulgaria commented on Boyko Borissov’s interview with the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung. In it, Borisov compares the woman who probably took the photos in his bedroom with the gold bars and the gun to Mata Hari, a famous courtesan and spy.
“And here we are not talking about a man who cannot control his pants and who cannot stop lying, but we are talking about the Bulgarian prime minister,” Ivanov stressed.
According to him, Bulgarian national security has been replaced by a black hole in which everyone does what they want. “Data on the tax secrecy of 5 million Bulgarians was published on the Internet. The trade registry, on which huge assets depend, exploded for days and no one was held responsible.”
According to him, the Prosecutor’s Office, the Ministry of the Interior, the investigation and the services look the other way and are silent like fish in water.
Hristo Ivanov will insist that the prosecution verify the circumstances presented by Boyko Borissov. “If I am elected a deputy in the next National Assembly, I will initiate a commission of inquiry to clarify the failure of the Bulgarian prosecutor’s office and the NSO, as well as the failure of the Bulgarian institutions,” Ivanov added.
