The mayor of the municipality of Banite, Milen Belchev, died of coronavirus in the Smolyan hospital.

Milen Belchev was born on March 17, 1957 in the town of Opyaxovets, municipality of Banite. Our first specialty is a construction technician and our higher education is economics. For a year he was director of “BKC” – Banite. He was a councilor for three terms in ObC – Banite and second-term mayor of the Banite municipality of GERB. Seven, with two children.
