Former national and current chairman of the board of the third division Chernomorets Burgas Radostin Kishishev told “Tema Sport” the appointment of Alan Pardew as technical director of CSKA.
The two worked together in Charlton, England in 2007 and the defender shared his memories of working together.
“My contact with Alan Pardew was 13 years ago when Charlton took charge of him. He is an exceptional person. I don’t know him in that sense as a technical director, but as a coach I can say that he is a great professional. Let’s see a little more. – a different world from English football, although he also works in the Netherlands, “Kishishev said.
“His appointment is a very strong move by Grisha Ganchev. From what I can see, Ganchev is doing his best to make CSKA champion. I hope that with the latest changes he has made, things will happen,” he added.
“I suppose Alan Pardew will be able to work with Bruno Akrapovic. The Bosnian proved his worth in Bulgaria with Lokomotiv Plovdiv. He showed that he can win trophies and that his team can play good football.”
“So with more finances than Grisha Ganchev has, a good team can be built under his leadership. Now, with Alan Pardew, time will show how things will turn out,” Kishishev said.
