Among those who died from a coronavirus infection was Dr. Kiril Elenski from Plovdiv, who refused treatment at a hospital so as not to overload the system.

He refused to go to the hospital for coronavirus treatment, writes Bg On Air. On Thursday, he called Manol Peykov to ask him about the breathing apparatus he had bought from the editor’s father years ago.
“At the moment they want to take me to the hospital, but at the moment I just miss that”, I don’t know what was behind those words, if the fact that he wants to continue doing his job, continue to be useful, if that wants to take a bed, but I assume his wish is to be available to him and his patients, ”the editor explained.
A day later, it became clear that Dr. Elenski had died. Over the years, Dr. Elenski has been one of the active members of the BMA and later Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors.
