The protest in front of the IMRO headquarters was a form of demonstration through which to desecrate the building and get into the news. Again, we have an act of vandalism, which I can say was not caused by anything. It is a group of citizens who throw bombs and torches, after which they are repelled by a jet of water by the police. This was shared in the bTV program “Face to Face” by the deputy and vice president of IMRO Iskren Veselinov on the occasion of yesterday’s excesses in front of the party headquarters between protesters and uniformed men.
“This is an unregulated march and an attempt to break into a building. We have already sent a signal to the Prosecutor’s Office,” he said.
Regarding the actions of the Bulgarian MEP and also IMRO Vice President Angel Dzhambazki, who in one of the videos distributed can be seen throwing a torch at the protesters from the window of the building, Iskren Veselinov said that most likely he was in a state of affection afterwards which fully justified what he had done.
I think it is normal to protect a property and a symbol of the Bulgarian, said Veselinov.
It is absurd to postpone child allowances to the police for such a reason. It was an extremely reckless move. The big problem is that the marginal birth rate is encouraged, that is. These are the ones who give birth to 12 children at 12 years old. Unfortunately, our master plan (IMRO’s Roma Integration Concept) has not received support, but we are passing much of it through legislation, the MP commented.
Iskren Veselinov announced that he had a conversation with the Minister of Finance, Kiril Ananiev, about the possibility of tax relief for those families who will not receive child benefits.
Another proposal, which was launched by IMRO, is for Bulgarian employers to give holiday vouchers to their employees, as there are food vouchers.
This will be a great support for the Bulgarian tourism, he is convinced.
