Prime Minister Boyko Borissov and Energy Minister Temenuzhka Petkova are inspecting the gas connection with Greece.
Borissov specified that it is necessary to go under the Studen Kladenets dam, as well as under the Maritsa River, which is extremely difficult.
“Azeri gas will enter Bulgaria on January 1. In a month we will have the dream of full diversification,” the prime minister said.
The Prime Minister explained that the Balkan Stream is now ready and is already being buried, hoping that this project will finish soon.
“It is very important to do this here,” he said. The section in Greece is easier because it is flat territory, the Greek company said.
“Greek companies are working at full capacity. We have accelerated their payments so that there is not a single day of delay in this geostrategic project of Alexandroupolis,” he said.
“There should not be a day delay in the gas connection with Greece.
