Under the law, a person infected with a coronavirus infection cannot personally take a prescription from a doctor for a drug such as an antibiotic. This can make a loved one also buy the necessary medication at the pharmacy.
At the same time, pharmacies cannot sell antibiotics, corticosteroids or strong blood thinners without a prescription, otherwise they risk fines and even the loss of their license.
Dr. Kirov believes that exceptions to the rules must be issued during the coronavirus epidemic so that prescriptions can be issued electronically.

He explained that the quarantine for those infected with covid-19 comes into effect from the moment they enter the corresponding national registry, based on the information presented by the RHI. This may occur with some delay. Each patient can check online if he is registered.
“There is no cure for COVID,” emphasized Dr. Kirov, advising people not to self-medicate.
