Bulgaria and North Macedonia have three more days to reach an agreement. This was stated by the Macedonian Foreign Minister, Bujar Osmani, quoted by New Macedonia.

A video conversation will be held soon between the foreign ministers of the two countries. There must be an agreement on the European negotiations in North Macedonia.

Agreement has already been reached on some of the issues. Bulgaria has clear positions on the terms of the negotiations.

Osmani said it was important to restore confidence in the Neighborhood Agreement. Performance of the contract is indicated as the only condition for an agreement.

A meeting of the general commission is scheduled for the end of the year. Macedonian positions do not change.

North Macedonia has received assurances from the EU that it considers itself the best prepared to start negotiations. Positive dialogue is expected.
