An ambulance driver and 5 other people with COVID died in the Kyustendil region

Five people with coronavirus: two women aged 76 and 72 years, three men aged 88, 76 and 75 years died in the last 24 hours in the Kyustendil region. The people are from Kyustendil Municipality and have had comorbid illnesses.

One day earlier, Ivan Alexandrov, 63, an ambulance driver at the Dupnitsa Emergency Center, died. He was treated at the municipal hospital for more than a week, but he lost the battle against the disease.

The regional crisis headquarters offers its deepest condolences to the relatives and relatives of the deceased.

In the last 24 hours, 72 people have recently been infected with a coronavirus infection in the Kyustendil region.

By municipalities, the positive cases are: Dupnitsa – 33, Kyustendil – 25, in Bobov dol – 4, in Kocherinovo and Boboshevo there are three new infections, in Rila and Sapareva Banya there are two new cases, according to the Regional Crisis Headquarters.
A total of 114 samples were taken and submitted for analysis in the last 24 hours.

To date, 21 people have been housed in the Kovid pavilion of the Municipal Hospital in the town of Dupnitsa. Nine of them are on oxygen therapy, the rest in a moderate and relatively stable general condition.

In Kovid, the MHAT ward “St. Ivan Rilski 2003” – Dupnitsa, 26 people are housed for treatment. Six of them are in relatively stable general condition, all the others are in severe and moderate condition.

The patients in the Kovid ward of MHAT “Dr. Nikola Vasiliev” in the city of Kyustendil to date are 51. Five are in very serious condition, the remaining patients are in moderate and relatively stable general condition.
