Tension erupted in protest of the government’s actions in the fight against the coronavirus in front of the Ministry of Health. The counter-protesters tried to disrupt the ABC event, which brought together about 50 people. Shortly after it started, several counter-protesters appeared with signs reading “Manger, do you sleep well?” As well as “Mangarov, a murderer!” They were expelled by the police, the tension was controlled and no arrests were made, reported Dir.bg.
ABV has demanded the resignation of the government due to the chaos with the measures against the coronavirus. The party believes that the cabinet’s measures are inadequate and chaotic.
Tonight, however, Associate Prof. Mangarov did not attend the protest event, which ABV had announced would be with his participation. Instead, Rumen Petkov read a brief address from the doctor. In it, Atanas Mangarov explains that today he took over the COVID ward of the hospital where he works. However, this did not change his attitude towards the measures.
