Georgia has not been won by a candidate for President of the United States for the Democratic Party since 1992when Bill Clinton triumphed.
Biden leads with 264 electoral votes (including Arizona) against 214 votes in the Electoral College with the 270 necessary to win one of the most contested presidential elections in the history of the United States. On Wednesday, the former vice president achieved key wins at Michigan and Wisconsinand Trump just took it a voice in maine. No winner has been announced yet, but it is almost 100% certain that the American leader Alaska won and got a total of 217 votes.
If Biden is confirmed to win in Georgia, it is the winner of the election, if Arizona is included. Thus, it will add another 16 votes and with them it will collect 280 electoral votes.
On Wednesday, the AP announced that Biden wins in Arizona. However, the ballot counting continues and Trump is just 47,052 votes behind (most of the uncounted ballots are in Maricopa County, where Democrats have a strong presence. Biden leads with more than 70,000 votes). Other media outlets have yet to declare Arizona a Democrat, as the difference is small.
