After a sleepless night in America, the answer to the question: “Who is the new president?” There is not. Soon there won’t be. President Donald Trump’s campaign has challenged elections in four states.
IN Wisconsin A recount was requested due to “irregularities,” writes the BBC. Counts are generally carried out after the first vote check is completed. The deadline for that is November 17. In 2016, there was a recount, which changed around a hundred votes.
IN Michigan Trump has demanded a lawsuit to stop the count.
IN Pennsylvania Their argument runs counter to a recent court ruling that allowed ballots postmarked on Election Day to be included in the vote, even if they arrived three days later.
Georgia is also demanding an end to the count due to irregularities in the processing of ballots placed outside of polling stations. Election observers reported seeing a woman “mixing more than 50 ballots with a pile of others that are not counted.”

Protests
There were protests in Detroit, Michigan and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where Democrats gathered around bulletin boards with “Count Every Vote” signs. Trump supporters demanded that the countdown stop in Arizona.
Police in Portland, Oregon, arrested a dozen people and seized fireworks, hammers and a rifle after last night’s protests, Reuters reports. Gov. Kate Brown dispatched the National Guard against “mass violence” the night after the election.
About fifty people have been arrested in New York.
