Barcelona achieved their third consecutive victory in Group G of the Champions League, having unexpectedly beaten 2: 1 at the “Nou Camp” Dynamo in Kiev. The Ukrainians arrived with their second team in the Catalan capital due to a boom in coronavirus infections in the team, but Ronald Koeman’s men again did not show anything special.

Lionel Messi gave Barça the lead in the 5th minute from a penalty, and in the next two attacks Pedri hit the crossbar and Griezmann missed an empty goal. At the beginning of the second half, a goal from the guests was disallowed, and in the 65th minute Gerard Piqué scored Barça’s second goal. In the 75th minute Viktor Tsigankov reduced for the Dynamo, but the Ukrainians did not have the strength for more. A great game for the team was made by 18-year-old Ruslan Nescheret, who saved several great situations.

Thus, after their first three games in the group, Barcelona have a complete record of 9 points, 3 more than the second Juventus, who beat Ferencvaros 4: 1 as a guest. The Hungarians and Dynamo Kyiv each have 1 point in their first three games.

Dynamo Kyiv arrived in Barcelona without 13 players recovering from a coronavirus. Which gave 18-year-old goalkeeper Ruslan Nescheret a chance to show off his great talent. Leo Messi led the Catalans in their 150th game in European tournaments.

It was Messi who led his teammates after taking a penalty in minute 4, when Denis Popov fouled him. The Argentine took the penalty without error and scored 1: 0. This was Leo’s 15th goal of a penalty in the Champions League and continued his tradition of scoring only from the penalty spot since the start of the season.

Barça’s strong start continued in the following minutes as, miraculously, the second goal was not scored. Young Pedry was inches from another goal after shooting from a clear position at the top post, and then the ball hit the goal line. Nescheret made his first save shortly after after a good shot from Ansu Fati, and Antoine Griezmann missed an empty goal.

In the 18th minute Nescheret reflected a great shot from Messi. An equal match followed, and in the 35th minute Buyalsky fell and sent the ball with his head to the door, but Ter Stegen also showed class. At the end of time, Barça was in control, but no new goals were scored.

The second part began with a pass from the guests, after Tsigankov jumped alone in the 46th minute in front of Ter Stegen, but the German reflected. On the corner kick that followed, Kegiora managed to score the ball at the gate. However, the goal was disallowed because the ball had left the field during the center.

Brilliant new performances by Nescheret followed. The debutant in the Champions League managed to capture a great shot by Messi from a foul. In the 64th minute, Sergio Roberto left a few meters from the Dynamo base and shot his head, but the 18-year-old talent saved again.

However, in the 65th minute Gerard Piqué scored the second goal. Ansu Fati crossed from the left wing, and the defender was at the top of the attack. Piqué masterfully directed the ball to the far corner for 2: 0.

The goal calmed the Catalans and ten minutes later they picked up. Verbic intercepted a good cross from the left wing, but Ter Stegen stretched and deflected. However, the ball landed at the feet of Tsigankov, who made it 1: 2 in an empty net.

The reserve Dembélé tried to end the intrigue in the match, but Nescheret did not allow it. The young goalkeeper first stopped a slight shot from the Frenchman from the edge of the penalty area, and in the 80th minute he showed a much greater reflex to save a ball aimed under the crossbar.
