US President Donald Trump’s campaign has called for a temporary suspension of the vote count in Michigan and Pennsylvania.

“We filed suit in Michigan Claims Court today to stop counting until we have meaningful access to the locations where ballots are counted. We also want to review ballots that have already been opened and counted until we have access.” said the Trump campaign. According to their leader, Bill Stepion, their teams did not have access to various locations in Michigan to monitor the opening of the polls and the counting of the ballots.
The Trump campaign says it is demanding a temporary halt to Pennsylvania, Michigan’s vote count, as Joe Biden’s victory in Wisconsin brings Democrats closer to 270 electoral votes.

So far, there is no clear winner in the faltering state of Michigan, which has 16 electoral votes in the electoral college, according to data from the sociological agency Edison Research. Trump’s Republican rival, Democrat Joe Biden, has a very small lead in Michigan, where 92 percent of the vote was counted.
Trump: The vote is a scam, I will ask the court to stop counting the ballots
Trump’s campaign headquarters has filed a lawsuit to suspend counting and votes in the state of Pennsylvania, arguing there is a lack of “transparency,” the Associated Press reported.
Regarding the lawsuit, Justin Clark, deputy campaign manager for the current president, said today that the headquarters had filed a lawsuit “to prevent Democratic representatives in the elections from hiding the counting and processing of ballots by our Republican observers.” Clark said Trump’s staff wants “the census suspended until sufficient transparency is provided and (until) the Republicans ensure that the entire census is conducted openly and in accordance with the law.”
Clark also said Trump staff will want to participate in the ongoing Supreme Court case by the deadline for receiving ballots by mail.
The Associated Press recalls that so far there is no information on electoral irregularities in Pennsylvania. More than 3.1 million mail-in ballots have been filed in the state, which takes time to count, and there is currently an order that could count through Friday if postmarked by Nov. 3.
