US President Donald Trump is already the favorite to win a new term, according to bookmakers, Reuters reported.
According to people betting on the British platform Betfair, Republican Trump’s chances are around 60 percent. At the opening of polling stations Tuesday morning, they were estimated at just 39 percent, reports BTA.
The probability of victory for Democratic candidate Joe Biden was drastically reduced from 61 to 40 percent.
According to another UK-based platform, Smarkets, Trump’s chances are even higher: 65 percent. At the inauguration of the polling stations, they were estimated at only 39 percent.

Patrick Flynn, a political analyst at Smarkets, attributed the change to Trump’s strong presence in Florida, and especially in Miami-Dade County, where a large Cuban community lives.
