Meanwhile, the Austrian television channel ORF published a map of the terrorist attacks in Vienna. Judging by the image, all the attacks were carried out in the central part of the capital. The attacks took place in the streets of Morzinplatz, Salzgris, Fleischmarkt, Bauernmarkt and Graben. The first shots were fired at the Seitenstettengasse near the synagogue.
Several people were killed in the attack in Vienna and at least one criminal remains at large and is wanted, Austrian Interior Minister Karl Nehammer said. Previously, the police reported one death, while the media reported that at least seven people were killed, including a police officer.

Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz does not rule out that the criminals who discovered the shooting in Vienna may be led by anti-Semitic motives. He said this on the air of the ORF television channel.

At the same time, the Chancellor clarified that the motives for the attack have not been officially established. Kurz added that the terrorists were very well armed and professionally trained. They are also armed with automatic weapons. “This is definitely a terrorist attack,” concluded the head of government.

Austrian police have officially stated that the attacks were organized by several armed men in six different parts of the city. The first shots were fired at 20:00 local time (21:00 Bulgarian time) at the Seitenstettengasse synagogue in central Vienna.
In addition to the synagogue, the terrorists have attacked a Jewish cultural center and two restaurants. Shortly after, information about hostages taken to a restaurant appeared, but there is still no official clarification from the authorities.
At the moment there are no data on injured Bulgarian citizens.
