Dozens of children are in quarantine due to COVID-19
An entire class from the largest school in Veliko Tarnovo is under quarantine. The reason: A teacher tested positive for COVID-19. A nurse at a nursery in the old capital is also infected.
What do young children know about the coronavirus?
A total of 26 Emilian Stanev High School students and two teachers, assessed as at risk, are under 10 days of quarantine. They will be trained remotely. Due to the confirmed case of coronavirus in the “Happy Childhood” nursery, 16 children and three staff members were isolated.

“All the cases that are registered in the schools are individual, not related. Most likely they are the result of contacts with the staff outside their official functions. Yes, there is a group in quarantine in the nursery. The rest of the garden of childhood it works normally, after the respective disinfection ”, explained Professor Georgi Kamarashev.
