A minor child died and four people were injured in an accident on the Varna-Dobrich highway. This was announced by ODMVR-Varna.
The incident occurred yesterday around 5 pm on the Varna – Dobrich highway. The 24-year-old driver of a Mercedes car from the village of Odartsi, while driving, lost control of his car, went in the opposite direction and collided with a Renault car.
As a result of the collision, five people were taken to a hospital. A minor child from the first car died in hospital. An 84-year-old woman was admitted to intensive care with combined trauma and life threatening. There is no danger to the lives of others: the driver of the first car, the driver of the second car (58 years old) and a 63-year-old woman, also of the second car. All are housed for the treatment of various fractures and injuries.
The reasons and circumstances surrounding the incident are being clarified. Pre-trial proceedings have started in the case.
