Some 50 young people of Turkish origin went crazy Thursday night at the Antonskirche (Saint Anthony of Padua) Catholic Cathedral in Vienna, the Austrian newspaper Kurir reported.
The youths broke into the church and with shouts of “Allah Akbar” they began to kick and turn benches and to beat and kick the walls of the confessional.
His actions were recorded on surveillance cameras.
At the signal of the “Antonskirche” administrator, the police arrived at the scene a few minutes later, but the attackers managed to escape.

The Antonskirche is currently closed to visitors for security reasons.
“All Christians must be able to profess their faith freely and safely in Austria. We will resolutely continue the fight against political Islam and we will not show false tolerance here.”Chancellor Sebastian Kurz wrote on Twitter.
Austria’s Interior Minister Karl Nehammer also condemned the incident. On October 29, he ordered police to increase patrols in public places amid attacks in France.
