Powerful earthquake causes casualties and damage in Turkey and Greece (SUMMARY)

A strong earthquake with a magnitude of 6.6 on the Richter scale shook Greece and Turkey. There are data of 8 dead and more than 200 injured. Many people are still being sought.

The magnitude of the earthquake was calculated at 7 points, but in the territory of Bulgaria it was 2-3 degrees, explained in front of the bTV camera Professor Emil Botev from the Geophysical Institute of BAS.

According to him, the earthquake was felt mainly by people from the south of the country and people who lived on high floors.
