Teams from Lokomotiv Plovdiv and Montana finished with results 2: 2 in a match of the eleventh day of the efbet native league. The show was in the first half, since in minute 6 Dimitar Iliev opened the scoring with his anniversary goal №40 in a black and white jersey, and in minute 25 Toni Tasev restored the tie. In the 31st minute, the guests turned around with an own goal by Lucas Masoero, made entirely by Toni Tasev, but the “Smurfs” quickly responded with a goal by Birsent Karagaren.

The match started off calm, but the hosts made the most of their first corner kick in the match and opened in an instant. In the 6th minute, Ante Aralitsa intercepted the cross from a corner, after which the ball reached Dimitar Iliev. With a shot from the far post, the “Smurfs” captain was ruthless and with his sixth goal since the start of the season sealed Marin Orlinov’s door.

Just two minutes later Ante Aralitsa hit the ball at full speed and fired a well-aimed shot at Orlinov’s door, who nevertheless was careful and caught.

The first accurate shot for the guests came only after about a quarter of an hour of play. Bilal Barry’s experience was on the doorstep, but he didn’t have the strength to make it difficult for Martin Lukov.

The momentum in the Montana game was maintained and the guests bided their time. Parviz Umarbaev made a mistake while kicking the ball, which led to the control of Bilal Bari, who found Toni Tasev in the penalty area. With a technical kick, the winger sent the ball into Martin Lukov’s door and scored his fourth goal of the season.

After half an hour of play, the players in blue took a turn. Toni Tasev overtook Petar Vitanov and sent a parallel pass to the finish line. Lucas Masoero, however, caught the ball and sent it into his own net.

The response of the “railwaymen” was not late. Momchil Tsvetanov controlled a pass from the left and crossed into the penalty area, where both Aralitsa and Ilyich missed, but Karagaren lunged and sent the ball straight into Orlinov’s goal, restoring the tie.

By the end of the first part, the guests became even more active. In just two minutes, Bilal Bari and Yanko Angelov tried to threaten Orlinov’s door, but to no avail. However, Lokomotiv responded with a dangerous shot from Karagaren, which did not surprise the guard of the guests.

The second part was much quieter. After about an hour of play, Milos Petrovic stepped on the feet of Toni Tasev, who was unable to continue the match and was forcibly replaced by Sergei Georgiev.

The only best chances were two quick attacks for both teams, but shots from Bilal Barry and Birsent Karagaren were inaccurate and did not change the outcome. In the closing minutes of the match, Georgi Minchev failed to become a hero for his team after his shot was deflected by Marin Orlinov.

Thus, the “Smurfs” did not manage to separate at the top, although they remain first with 23 points, but two games more than the pursuer of Ludogorets. Montana, for his part, finally scored as a guest and already has 12 points in his asset.
