He recalled that during the cold season, the body especially needs animal fats, which will help fight viruses, and vitamins A and E will help strengthen the immune system. She gave her favorite “fatty food” as an example, BTA reported.

“Take lettuce, all kinds of vegetables and cut the bacon into thin slices, adding it to the salad. Sprinkle with olive oil, hemp or linseed oil, salt with Himalayan salt and you can eat it,” Goncharova said.

According to her, just 50 grams of lard a day is enough.

Also, do not heat the product to a temperature higher than 40 degrees Celsius, as this will deprive it of its useful properties. The nutritionist added that fats in any form will not cure COVID-19, but can be used as prophylaxis.
