A Yambol doctor has been re-infected with coronavirus after he fell ill a few months ago and acquired antibodies, said regional governor Dimitar Ivanov.
As of today, the work of the district’s community centers and retirement clubs is suspended for 14 days. For now, nightclubs, clubs and restaurants will operate under strict control and a limited number of visitors.
The district governor will hold a meeting with restaurant owners and representatives of the Labor Office to discuss their support through Measure 60/40 or otherwise.
The Yambol region is not in the red zone of infection, but stricter measures must be implemented. More than 60 percent of the positive samples on the last day were from people 55 and older.
The rooms for the treatment of COVID-19 at MHAT “St. Panteleimon” are full and the admission of patients must be specified, help will be sought from the other medical institutions in the district, Ivanov added.
