2,569 new cases of coronavirus have been registered in our country during the last 24 hours, according to data from the Unified Information Portal. The PCR tests performed were 11,226 and the cases were detected almost 23%.
Today we reached 42,701 total confirmed cases of COVID-19 in our country since the start of the pandemic. Active cases as of October 28 are 22,597as of them 2,217 infected people are hospitalized and 145 patients in intensive care units.
2020 are already infected medical personnel – doctors, nurses, orderlies, etc.
There are no areas where new infections have not been identified. Most cases are in Sofia – 1085, Plovdiv – 230, Varna – 169, Burgas – 101, Ruse – 98 and Blagoevgrad – 91, Shumen – 95. In Stara Zagora there are 81 new cases, in Sofia district – 69, Pleven – 63, Kardzhali – 54, Vratsa – 53.
