A new record 2,569 coronavirus cases have been identified in Bulgaria. This means that the number of people infected by COVID-19 in our country per day has increased compared to Monday, when they were also a record, 2,243. For the second day in a row in our country it has crossed the nightmare limit of more than 2000 infected per day.
It should be noted that the PCR tests performed on Tuesday were 11,226, while on Monday they were 7,659.
Unfortunately, the bad news does not end there and in the last 24 hours there have been 25 deaths from coronavirus, reports the Unified Information Portal. Thus, the total number of victims became 1161. We remind you that on Monday a new and terrifying black record was registered in the number of deaths of K-19 per day for our country: 43.
In the last 24 hours, 293 were cured. The number of patients in our country is already 42,701, the active cases are 22,597.
A total of 18,943 people were cured. 2217 people were hospitalized, 145 were in the intensive care unit.
