Absolute record for COVID in Bulgaria! 2,243 new cases in just 24 hours

Currently, 40,132 cases of the new coronavirus have been verified in Bulgaria. 20,346 of them are active. 18,650 people were healed. Of these, 296 have been registered in the last 24 hours.

The number of confirmed COVID-19 patients admitted to hospital facilities is 2,130. 149 of them are in intensive care units or clinics.

According to the National Information System Coronavirus infection was found in medical personnel from 1948. The new cases registered during the last 24 hours are 65. Of these, 27 were identified by doctors, 17 by nurses, 6 by nurses and 15 by other medical personnel.

The number of deaths in which the new coronavirus has been verified is 1,136. 42 of the cases are from the last 24 hours.

Mathematician: The optimistic forecast is for nearly 30,000 new COVID-19 infections by the end of November.
