The legendary Habib explodes for the 29th win and retires undefeated (video)

The great Habib Nurmagomedov forged his 29th victory in MMA and defended his UFC lightweight title against Justin Gage.

The Dagestan finished off his opponent with one arm in the second round.

Geji passed out from the grip, and when he regained consciousness, he went to calm the Eagle, who was crying in the center of the ring. Habib dedicated the victory to his late father, Abdulmanap, and sensationally announced that he was ending his career.

At the culmination of UFC 254, the two fighters began the showdown cautiously, with the first punches going to Geji’s account. Habib did not leave the center of the octagon while Justin kept a long distance.

After the second minute Nurmagomedov changed his demeanor and became more aggressive.

He hit straight right hooks to throw the opponent off balance and hit a knee strike in a strong period, in which he literally chased the opponent through the octagon. Geiji responded with a left-to-right combination, but that didn’t stop Habib’s momentum.

At the end of the round, the champion took a takedown and in the cage itself. In the fight he managed to hold Justin’s hand to the barn and only the mermaid saved the American.

At the start of the second half, Geiji dropped to the ground. Downstairs, Habib first went into a full montage, then turned around and finished Justin Gage in armor.

Immediately after the end of the battle, the winner signaled that he would not rejoice and fell to his knees in the center of the cage. The champion cried, and when Geji regained consciousness, he went and calmed him down.

Nurmagomedov announced that this was his last battle, because he could not return to the Octagon again without the support of his father.

Habib already has 29 wins in 29 MMA fights and continues to have the longest winning streak in the UFC – 13 consecutive hits.

With his performance, Nurmagomedov has reason to be considered a UFC # 1 legend, regardless of category.
