“We are discussing with our colleagues the temporary closure of the discos. Today we have a meeting of the municipal headquarters together with the director of the RHI of the capital and we will discuss this issue again. This has been done by many cities in the red zone of Bulgaria” . This was announced by the mayor of Sofia Yordanka Fandakova in front of Nova TV.

“We are also monitoring what is happening in European cities. You know that there are more serious measures, such as the afternoon schedule, we will also discuss this. If the measure with the closure of nightclubs turns out to be effective, I think the schedule of the night will not be necessary. “All known measures are taken to reduce the crowding of people by maintaining distance. It is also important that companies work, people must also have jobs, but maintaining health is the most important thing by not overloading the health system, “she added.

“For 2 days we have launched additional trains during peak hours, but we also have sick drivers, but all trains run on time, for me it is important that public transport continues to function so that Sofia lives,” he said.

“Our observations during the removal of the blue and green zone this spring showed that this is not a very effective measure, because people were not really getting out of their cars and there was chaos in the parking lot,” Fandakova said categorically.

“Perhaps the next step should be considered for older students to move on to distance education,” the mayor added.
