Today’s three areas have been added to the so-called “List of risk areas” of the institute “Robert Koch”, in which the districts of Blagoevgrad and Targovishte are already present.

A coronavirus testing requirement is mandatory for anyone arriving in Germany who has been in a ‘risk zone’ for the past 14 days. It can also be manufactured outside of Germany, but within 48 hours before entering German territory. Only the presence of a negative test is grounds for exemption from the 14-day home quarantine.

The quarantine does not apply to passengers in transit through a “risk zone”.

Citizens can view the full list of risk areas at: https://www.rki.de/DE/Content/InfAZ/N/Neuartiges_Coronavirus/Risikogebiete_neu.html.

We remind you that each federal state in Germany applies the quarantine rule according to the local peculiarities of the spread of the coronavirus.
