On October 21, 2020, a constituent assembly of the Initiative Committee for the establishment of a “Bulgarian Summer” political party was held in Sofia.

The first meeting of the Initiative Committee brought together more than 60 founders, active participants in the Bulgarian Summer platform and supporters who support the principles and mission of the future party.

At the beginning of the meeting, with a live online connection, the founder of the “Bulgarian Summer”, Mr. Vasil Bozhkov, joined.

Mr. Boril Sokolov was unanimously elected chairman of the meeting, who introduced the mission and principles of the “Bulgarian Summer” to the participants.

The founders of the “Bulgarian Summer” claim that by creating an active government and pooling the resources of the state and its citizens, the full potential of the country can be realized.

The party is based on following the principles of direct democracy and the rule of law and respect for the diversity of society in all its forms. The “Bulgarian Summer” will represent the interests of all citizens equally, encouraging them to have a voice in decision-making, taking responsibility for themselves, their community and the state, and working for the prosperity and progress of Bulgaria.
