Protesting against masks is dangerous. So said the rheumatologist and president of the Society of Medical Writers “Dimitar Dimov” of “Bulgaria in the Morning” and Prof. Zlatimir Kolarov of the Medical Society of Osteoporosis and Osteoarthritis. In his opinion, distance and masks are mandatory.
“We need to correct our behavior, create a model of life,” he added.
“If we had adopted the Swedish model, 3,500 people would have died by mid-May. As a society, we must take care of the orphans, the sick, the disabled and the elderly,” the doctor told Bulgaria ON AIR.
“Everything that General Mutafchiiski and the other staff members said is coming true, unfortunately,” stressed Professor Kolarov.
According to him, many people, fearing Kovid-19, died of fear and delayed treatment for their heart disease.
“The problem is balance. Contact with a doctor must be regular,” he said.
