The Chelsea and Sevilla teams failed to win and finished in score 0: 0 in the first match of both teams in Group E of the Champions League. The two teams played a good tactical match, which, however, did not offer very clear scoring situations and naturally ended goalless.

The visitors started off with more confidence and were the first to attempt to threaten one of the two gates after Lucas Ocampos shot dangerously from the left into the penalty area, but it turned out he was in ambush.

In the fifth minute, Timo Werner reached to the right for Reese James, who crossed hard into the penalty area, but Diego Carlos stretched out his leg and blocked the danger.

In the 19th minute, Nemanja Goodell intercepted a cross into the box with her head from the penalty spot, but Edward Mendy made a brilliant save, which kept his goal off the mark.

In the 31st minute Reese James crossed from the right into the penalty area, where Diego Callos could not clear in the best way and the ball reached Timo Werner, who shot, but in the hands of Bono.

In the last minute of the first half Suso intercepted a cross with his head a long time ago, but he passed Mendi’s door. During the first 45 minutes, Lucas Ocampos tried to hit the ground outside the penalty area on the ground, but weakly in the hands of a “blues” guard.

Three minutes after the start of the second half, Ben Chillwell took a corner kick, and Kurt Zuma managed to head in, the ball rebounding off a Sevilla player and falling into Bono’s hands.

In the 56th minute Werner tried a shot from medium distance, but without problems for the Sevilla goalkeeper.

Two minutes later, Reese James crossed from the right into the penalty area, where Chilulel struck with his head at the far post, but Bono managed to catch.

Soon after, Hakim Ziesh took Mason Mount’s place on the home team. Mateo Kovacic replaced Jorgeninho.

In the 67th minute, the Andalusians were close to scoring after a static situation. Ivan Rakitic’s cross from a corner, and on the edge of the penalty area Joan Jordan shot dangerously with a volley, but the ball went inches off the crossbar.

Until the end of the match, both teams kept advancing, but nothing more dangerous ever happened and the match ended in a draw.
