The head of state’s delegation returned early from a visit to Estonia after it became clear that Radev had contacted COVID-19 in a positive way. The infected person Radev contacted was the new chief of the Air Force, Gen. Dimitar Petrov. The last public event of Gen. Petrov and President Radev was on Friday at the Air Force holiday.

At Sofia airport, Rumen Radev clarified that there are 2 PCR tests in less than 1 week. One is from Tuesday, before leaving for Greece. The second is from yesterday. Both are negative.
“I am in very good physical shape, without any symptoms,” said the president.
Of the 33 people in the president’s delegation, only three wanted to get a PCR test at Sofia airport. Two of them are the reporter and the NOVA operator.
