This was stated by the regional governor of Plovdiv, Dani Kanazireva, on the morning block of Nova TV.

“The measures are not fulfilled, so we returned the access regime – in large hypermarkets of food and non-food products, up to 100 people will be allowed, with distance between them and mandatory use of masks,” he added.

“If we all, as a society, realize that it is up to us, we are responsible and we follow the most basic measure across Europe: wearing a mask, I think we will have an effect next week.”

According to her, more than 200 people are already hospitalized in Plovdiv hospitals and the number of beds is currently 300.

We remind you that Plovdiv is returning some of the measures in an attempt to cope with the growing number of COVID-19 patients. The decision was made by the local authorities. Mass inspections for mask use begin today.
