In Bulgaria a new record of 1024 coronavirus cases has been identified. This means that the number of people infected by COVID-19 in our country per day has increased dramatically compared to Sunday, when they were 395. We recall that last week there were also record values ​​of 819, 914 and 998 patients in 24 hours. Now, however, the terrible limit of more than 1,000 infected per day has been crossed.

It should be noted that the PCR tests performed on Monday were 4,406, while on Sunday they were 1,508.

Unfortunately, the bad news does not end there and in the last 24 hours there have been 22 deaths from coronavirus, reports the Unified Information Portal. Thus, the total number of victims became 1,008, and here a nightmare border was crossed. The death toll is very close to the new black record set a few days ago for the number of K-19 deaths per day for our country: 23 people.

In the last 24 hours, 210 have been cured. The number of patients in our country is already 30,527, active cases are 12,366.

A total of 17,153 people were cured. 1562 people were hospitalized, 88 were in the intensive care unit.
