Facilities must be registered by November 27
The Ministry of Environment and Water (MoEW) reminds companies and citizens, owners of underground water extraction facilities – wells, boreholes, geraniums, captured springs, drains, etc., that they must register before November 27, 2020 facilities that are located on your own property.
Registration is carried out in the Cuenca Directorate, which is in charge of water management in the respective area.
Water intake facilities that are not registered within this period cannot be used. Following the establishment of illegal groundwater extraction facilities after November 27, 2020, they will be liquidated at the expense of their owner, who also has criminal liability.
