The Ministry of Education has developed an action plan:

If 20% of the students in a class or 15% of the entire school are absent, will move to distance education of individual classes and entire schools in the country.

The districts of Bulgaria are divided into 4 zones

The principle of division is morbidity for 14 days per 100,000 inhabitants, taking into account the weekly growth of affected and infected groups in society and the percentage of absenteeism.

TO the red zone areas where there are more than 120 infected per 100,000 people. There, the outbreaks are large, they merge, hospitalizations and deaths increase. In this scenario, if there is 20% absent or 15% from school, there will be a transition to distance education for entire schools.

An area will fall into the orange zone in infected, which vary between 60 and 119 per 100,000 inhabitants. If the spread of the coronavirus occurs in outbreaks, has a limited geographical spread, and there is no sustainable transmission of the infection, it can be switched to distance learning of individual classes and entire schools in the area.

TO the yellow zone It will include areas where the spread of the coronavirus between 20 and 59 infected per 100,000 people. There, the presence of coronavirus would be sporadic and there would be no sustained transmission of the infection. There are no students or only individual students in this area, so schools will continue to work in person.

The green Zone It will impoverish those areas where coronavirus infections are below 20 per 100,000 people. In these areas there is no sustainable transmission of the infection, there are no or no students alone, so the training will continue in person.

5-6 teachers and students infected on average daily in Bulgaria

In recent days, the number of infectious diseases in the education system has increased, Minister Krassimir Valchev said. 99.5% of teachers and students have been in the classroom since the beginning of the year. 172 children and students tested positive for coronavirus and 165 were infected teachers.

The objective of this school year: maximum face-to-face training. Krassimir Valchev called on everyone to be more responsible, to set an example and to follow the measures. If the prescriptions are followed, there is a chance that the school year is present in more than 97-98%. Currently, the problem is students with flu-like symptoms, the education minister said.

Recommendations:
