After four and a half hours of bickering and insulting comments, the majority in parliament rejected BSP and MRF’s request for the resignation of Speaker of Parliament Tsveta Karayancheva from GERB. 126 MPs from GERB, United Patriots and Volia voted in favor of Karayancheva, and 97 from BSP, MRF and the Independents voted for her removal.

The reasons for the opposition: Karayancheva did not respect the Constitution, damaged the prestige of the National Assembly, made it an appendage of Boyko Borissov, isolated the media in the basement, etc., so she had to leave for her account. The protection of the ruling party, who was a good person, who had the support of GERB, etc., so the request had to be withdrawn.

In her speech, Karayancheva again defended the prime minister, attacked President Rumen Radev and accused the BSP and the MRF of wanting to be in power through the back entrance. She said there were times when her joy made her want to “disappear or throw herself off a rock in the Rhodopes,” but the opposition could not take away the honor.

“Karayanchevshchina has no place in parliament”

At the beginning of the debate, the leader of the BSP, Cornelia Ninova, listed the arguments with which the socialists demand the resignation of Tsveta Karayancheva: that she did not respect the Constitution and the rules of parliament, made the National Assembly an appendix of Boyko Borissov, who hid from parliamentary control, insulted and humiliated the citizens. comments such as “If you don’t like the subway, go ahead, know”, did not move the opposition projects, undermined the prestige of the institution, exposed Bulgaria in Europe, isolated the media in the basement, and others.

According to MRF leader Mustafa Karadayi, when you don’t have the ability, experience and vision, aggression, hatred and arrogance remain – the foundations in the GERB style, incl. and Tsveta Karayancheva, who pointed to division and opposition in society. He believes that the Speaker of the National Assembly is trying to duplicate the Prime Minister and the President to earn dividends, but there is one mistake after another.

Mustafa Karadayi said that Tsveta Karayancheva is behaving like a neighborhood party official, which is a political crime against the republic and history will not forgive him. He believes that the personality and behavior of this president of the National Assembly should be a lesson that everyone should learn. “The Karayanchev region has no place in the Bulgarian parliament and politics,” announced the leader of the MRF.

After citing various statements by Karayancheva, BSP deputy Ivan Chenchev said that there was a crisis in public relations, the parliament, its president and the state.

“Is Karayancheva a Kardzhali martyr?”

In the debates, the deputies paid attention to a recording in which Boyko Borissov called Tsveta Karayancheva with obscene words. According to BSP leader Cornelia Ninova, after the prime minister called the president of the National Assembly “a woman from Kardzhali”, she should oppose him or resign to protect the honor of Bulgarian women.

According to Erol Mehmed of the MRF, who is a MP from Kardzhali, however, there was a technical error in Borissov’s statement and it was: “Kardzhali.” He believes that Tsveta Karayancheva is the personification of GERB, but an embarrassment to Kardzhali.

Mehmed’s comment came in response to Slavcho Atanasov of the United Patriots, who defended the speaker of parliament as a politician who did not steal anything and was not corrupt. He believes that she is a young and beautiful girl who was attacked by the MRF for breaking the monopoly of the movement in Kardzhali. According to Atanasov, the BSP and MRF are turning Tsveta Karayancheva into a martyr.

In response, Anton Kutev of the BSP said that Karayancheva may be a good woman, but MPs will not marry her. She announced that she was one of the culprits in turning the political elite into a swamp. His colleague Alexander Simov said he did not know what kind of person Karayancheva was, but as speaker of parliament he was a complete failure and had to leave. According to him, she only shot in Kardzhali, and the people of the city were ashamed of the donated old theater rugs, and being greeted with giggles, because everyone associated this beautiful place with the president of the 44th parliament.

“Dear madam, martyr of Kardzhali,” Hamid Hamid addressed Karayancheva, who, according to her, would be remembered – if at all – only with the brief but categorical assessment of the GERB party chairman, with which everyone agreed. Then he criticized her for not ruling on the incompatibility as a member of the Central Electoral Commission. Citing Karayancheva de Lom’s statement, Hamid said that he had reduced the authority of the National Assembly to a “workshop for the production of garden products.”

His colleague Yordan Tsonev said that he rules in the MRF in Kardzhali and the region, but does not think it is good to have five out of five MPs from the region. “More modest with the myth of the broken bastion,” he announced.

“Borissov is not on duty from the ring road”

In an attempt to protect Tsveta Karayancheva, GERB MP Vezhdi Rashidov announced that Prime Minister Boyko Borissov was not on duty, was not part of the ring road to go to parliament when requested by the BSP. He told Cornelia Ninova that if she had love, she would invite Borisov to a restaurant and they would get along as men. Finally, he demanded the removal of Elena Yoncheva from the European Parliament for the critical resolution against Bulgaria, which he said was full of lies.

According to Slavcho Atanasov of the United Patriots, much more insulting remarks were made from the parliamentary rostrum than “Walk on foot, I know.” For example, “Not a town, but a corpse,” Pencho Slaveykov said. Anton Kutev of the BSP corrected him saying that these were the words of Petko Slaveykov, president of the National Assembly, whom Tsveta Karayancheva could not join.

In defense of her donation of old rugs, Volia leader Veselin Mareshki said that some politicians had not donated. For example, according to him, the Vice Speaker of Parliament Christian Vigenin of the BSP has donated only his love for the leader Sergei Stanishev. He then said that he must have become homosexual to please the BSP, and attacked the party on internal party issues and announced that Ninova was “Ms. Lie” and that the GERB would not be removed from office for her to come to power. In response, Vigenin said that psychologists could explain Mareshki’s attraction to same-sex love, but four years in prison, to which he was sentenced in the second instance for racketeering, would help him find himself. Then Mareshki said that he would call him if he decided to become a woman.

GERB deputies Krassimir Tsipov, Desislava Atanasova and Alexander Nenkov also spoke in support of Tsveta Karayancheva. According to the second, all the parties wanted to isolate the media in the basement, and the third believes that the socialists behave like those 80% of the people who, according to deputy Ivo Hristov, were stupid.

According to Milena Damyanova of GERB, the goal of the opposition is to disguise Karayancheva so that she comes to power. “I cannot agree that we live in masquerade Bulgaria, not honor Bulgaria,” he said.

“Karayancheva against the people. This is the battle”

“Tsveta Karayancheva against the people. This is the battle,” replied Anton Kutev, announcing that he would present “The system is killing us” t-shirts to the deputies, as they do not work for the benefit of citizens. He said that GERB had turned politics to mud and they had to leave because everyone didn’t make sense.

“Down” – this is how Cornelia Ninova finally called Rashidov’s proposal to see Borisov in a restaurant. According to her, after this debate, Bulgaria is saving it from dissolving parliament immediately. He reiterated that GERB, MRF and United Patriots rule unofficially.

GERB’s MP Spas Garnevski asked for a statement, but it turned out that while he waited, his file disappeared. The GERB accused the BSP of stealing the file and Garnevski said: “The communist is a communist. It may be a folder, but he can steal it. You have already gone to the office, there is nothing to steal in this country.” Anton Kutev announced that he has recordings on his phone of what exactly happened.

Later, Garnevski read a statement saying that a coup attempt was underway and that the demand for resignation was a satanic political party during the plague. According to him, the oligarchs behind the protest are being targeted. Talk about cops, communists and others.

“Down with the hands of the government! Down with the hands of the Attorney General!” Announced the GERB deputy.

According to GERB’s Toma Bikov, Tsveta Karayancheva’s resignation will lead to nothing, so they will not support her.

“I am not free from sin”

Finally, Tsveta Karayancheva spoke and announced that an attempt was being made to expose the coalition between BSP and MRF. She said, “I am not sinless and I have never said that.”

Tsveta Karayancheva tried to refute the opposition’s arguments: they did not present proposals for the agenda; no questions were addressed to Prime Minister Borissov, that is, he asked unacceptable questions to claim that he did not answer and did not address them again to the line ministers; no bill has been introduced on the signal of a member of the electoral commission, etc.

The announcer announced that the media did not protest the transfer to the basement, and now there were petitions. He said he wanted the opinion of all parties and would return the pre-parliament regime, that is. journalists have access to parliamentarians.

Tsveta Karayancheva attacked President Rumen Radev, comparing his comment “Mutri, out” with the words of previous heads of state. She responded to the comment of the presenter of “120 minutes” on BTV Svetoslav Ivanov at her address.

After recounting how much he was overjoyed by Boyko Borissov’s alleged comments about her, which he denied, he said: “There were times when I wanted to disappear or jump off a rock in the Rhodopes.” He then said that he did not report to the executive and suspected that the opposition wanted to overthrow the government by resigning.

“My honor is not a function of your evaluation. My honor cannot be taken from you in the slightest,” concluded Tsveta Karayancheva, and the BSP called for the “resignation.”
