GERB-Kardzhali strongly opposes malicious political backstage attempts, carried out by the old – new coalition between BSP and MRF, to “behead” the Bulgarian parliament by removing its legitimately elected president on the completely untenable argument that it defends the authority of the National Assembly.

This is stated in a statement by GERB-Kardzhali on the occasion of Tsveta Karayancheva’s request for resignation presented today to the Parliament office.
