Hristo Terziiski: Instead of in block 7, the team reached block 4, an inspection was ordered

Employees of team number 9 learned the exact address in the morning during the briefing, so they entered the data in the navigation of the company car. Upon arrival at the site, they secured the perimeter, according to the data that the team employees entered the correct data, but then it was established that instead of block 7, the team arrived at address 4 in the “Levski” block.

This was said by Interior Minister Hristo Terziiski during his hearing in the plenary hall on the error in the CDCOC action, during which a team stormed in the wrong direction.

According to the previously prepared plan, the team has been designated as an address in block 7 of the Levski neighborhood for the arrest of a criminal. The team consisted of three GDBOP officers, a team from a specialized police force, and gendarmerie officers. Sturinta was briefed by all teams and provided information on addresses, detainees, and necessary documentation.

At present, by order of the director of the General Directorate for the Fight against Organized Crime, a disciplinary control has been ordered to establish all the circumstances and data that led to the penetration of the wrong address, Minister Terziiski stressed.

According to him, after carrying out numerous operational and investigative measures, which expand the data initially received, it was established that the organized criminal group is larger and has a diverse criminal activity. It was found that the clear leadership structure in the group has two people, one of whom is considered a brain, and on the same level as him is the second person responsible for the use of force and the search for designated people who serve the interests of the organized criminal group.

It has been established that people carry out unregulated banking activity, which is also the basis for subsequent actions under duress, forceful actions and patrimonial and financial fraud.

Minister Terziiski stressed that a third person, directly subordinate to the group’s leaders, responsible for the distribution of drugs in the capital, has been identified and has also been accused of committing acts of violence.

On October 5, a specialized police operation was carried out under the supervision of the Prosecutor’s Office, with the joint participation of the General Directorate for the Fight against Organized Crime and forces from the General Directorate of Gendarmerie and the Ministry of the Interior. During the operation carried out, planned preliminary procedural-investigative actions were carried out against 16 people, 28 homes and 10 motor vehicles.

Additionally, under emergency conditions, procedural and investigative actions were carried out against another 10 addresses and vehicles. Cash was found in the amount of BGN 18,600, a gas pistol without the necessary documents, drugs, truncheons and legs, bats, documents related to real estate: notarial deeds, sketches, many computers, electronic media and mobile devices used. of the faces.

During the operation, a total of 19 people were arrested, 30 were questioned as witnesses, charges were brought against 5 people and a containment measure was stopped, Terziiski added.

Immediately after the hearing, Georgi Svilenski of the BSP asked the minister to return to the plenary hall and answer who was responsible for what happened. There was no going back and the ruling party accused the opposition of undermining the authority of the Interior Ministry.

“There are falsehoods and the destruction of the authority of the Interior Ministry,” GERB’s Manoil Manev said.
